“ Absolutely loved this place. The double cheese burger is hands down the best halal burger in Manchester. chicken burger was also delicious but just wish it was crunchy. Skin on fries are nice but curly fries are nothing special. Home made ranch sauce is delicious but not feeling the cheese sauce. The double cheese burger is just mind blowing. Haven't stopped thinking about it since. Highly recommended. ”
“ We have visited Shakedown on quite a few occasions, as the menu has depth and the quality is excellent. In my opinion, it is probably one of the best places in Manchester to enjoy a burger. The burgers and fries were very palatable and of a high standard. I presume this is reflective in the price. The milkshakes are delicious, and in particular, cookies and cream are a family favourite. As it is quite near our residence. we visit a couple of times a month to get our burger-fix. I would highly recommend this establishment. 10/10 ”
“ I happened to pop in here to grab a chicken wrap for breaking my Ramadan fast. Without me even mentioning I was fasting, they left some beautiful medjool dates and a free water bottle with my food in order to break the fast. Honestly, such a nice touch and it was greatly appreciated! Great customer service is defined by going above and beyond what is expected and making an extra effort to genuinely serve your customers. Overall brilliant service and it’s always nice and clean in the shop which is another positive! ”
“ Enjoyed my food, the staff were so nice and friendly. I had the American fried burger meal, burger was good, loved the skin on fries and also got the Side chicks to try which i really enjoyed. Should defo try them. We also tried the oreo waffle which was ok but we were so stuffed we only took a bite of the waffle and ended up taking it home. ”
“ Shakedown 2.0 is the second branch of an amazing burger and shake joint. Located on Wilmslow road, this new branch is easy to get and the burgers are very reasonably priced so you've no excuse I went for the Beefed up - a double patty burger with melted cheese and homemade Dress me sauce. The patties were smash patties and we're decent quality, oozing with flavour. For me though, it was the sauce that stole the show... Rather than have a gherkin on the burger the have made a special sauce that contains gherkins, giving you that delicious flavour whiteout the texture some people do not like. Combined with the ammount of melted cheese this was one of the best burgers I've had in a while and that includes the ones I recently had in America. Proper impressed As you can see on the pictures a huge tray of burgers and fries were brought out with cheese dip and more of that Dress me Sauce. I also had a biscoff and Oreo shake which was incredible, my friends had waffles but I was too stuffed ”
“ What a fine establishment, fries were cooked well, seasoned well and still crispy after the delivery driver taking 40 minutes. The chicken tenders were similar to that of street guys and Archie’s. Cheeseburger was nice, there could be a little more cheese is my only criticism as other burger you can easily see the cheese around the sides where I had myself questioning if they included it when I bit into it the first time. The waffle was very nice and the ice cream was a very nice touch to add to it, please continue doing so as it took 40 minutes getting to me but somehow the ice cream was still solid and not melted (I don’t know how but I’m not complaining). ”

“ I love this place! Visited Shakedown during the first lockdown we had and the smash burgers were amazing then. I went last Sunday for Iftar I was so looking forward to the burgers and hoping they would taste the same simce the last time i had them, and they do! If not better! Definitely will be paying a visit again, I'd probably say this is the best place for a smash burger I've come across so far ”
